For the ultra pessimists out there, and there are quite a few.
Leicester and qpr can now only catch us on goal difference, and they still have to Play each other.
If Burnley win every game they can only reach 49 pointh, and they have to play Leicester as well.
So a win next week over Everton and we are safe. |  |

If Burnley win every game they can only reach 49 pointh, and they have to play Leicester as well.
So a win next week over Everton and we are safe. |
LOL ! I tried to work that out earlier but gave up. For the pessimists we have little chance of making 7th and we wouldn't want Europa League anyway because we could be relegated - which we probably will be anyway. |  |

Looking at us today (not with SCFC spectacles on either), I reckon that we are well in the top 10 clubs in the PL, with perhaps 6 clubs (the big ones) being better over the long haul.
We will improve over the summer too.

Spurs are a big club, with a bigger and more loyal support than chelsea.
I know they last seriously challenged for the title in 1985, but that's only 5 years before liverpool last won it. In fact I was thinking only the other day it may not be long before Liverpool are bracketed with spurs in terms of trophy aspirations.
We should take it as a compliment that teams like spurs and Liverpool now play us hoping to win rather than expecting to win. | |
