Goal scorers 00:37 - Apr 24 with 4221 views

I've just realised only 6 of our current team have scored this season, Dyer, Jonjo, Routs, Bafe, Siggy & Ki
compared to 13 who have scored for West Ham just below us
(Stoke 9, Soton 11, Spurs 11)

Should other players be chipping (heading or shooting) in with a few more?

West Ham may have more goal scorers than us this season and have scored more goals,(4 more) but we have accumulated more points than them and that's what counts and Stoke have scored the same amount as Swansea, so makes your whole argument rather pointless.

Not much of a surprise. The way we play doesn't lend itself to goals coming from everywhere.

It would be nice if a defender scored, maybe we actually score from a corner - yeah wishful thinking!

But at the end of the day, who cares who scores, as long as we score more than the opposition.

Just watched Dyer's goal against the scum at Onion Park april 2009 on "Sky classics" - Scotland played him through.
He scores in fits and starts but as someone has quite rightly said we play differently.

It would be odd if we went the entire season without a single goal from a defender. FF has come very close so many times, and Taylor caused a Chelsea OG.
