Erase facebook from your life and you will not work yourself over matters like this. I personally couldn't give a **** what other people do.

Even when you know, you never know?

It's pathetic, if they can't make the game give it to someone you know who would like the opportunity to go.

Isn't it touting and illegal to sell over the asking price?

An auctions ok if it goes to charity. In this case the bloke, who is presumably named - I don't do social tw@ttery - should be banned from ever having another ticket for a football club.

In this kids defence he's just asked for offers. someone might offer a tenner which he might accept.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

If you go on live tickets.com you will see tickets for Sunday's game for sale ranging from £104 to £185.

Nobody seems to be bothered about this, but as soon as somebody offers his ticket for sale and gets offers over the he asking price the seller, according to some, appears to have committed some sort of heinous crime.

Lifelong,

doing it through the supporters trust account is not right, furthermore it is illegal to transfer your tickets let alone transferring for profit. Fortunately Phil Sumbler put a stop to it, which is the correct thing to do.

Who said anything about doing it through the supporters trust account?

Yes, it may be illegal but there are plenty of people on here every week offering their ticket for sale because they can't make a game.

That's strange, i'm sure my post just got deleted, anyway....

Why isn't there outrage when posters on here, such as Gower Jack for example, are selling their season ticket seat for the Man Utd game for £45? The only difference between those posters and the chap on facebook is the size of the profit they receive.

People should mind their own business ffs.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Most of us are guilty at passing on/ selling on tickets at face value.
But, according to the regs, it is actually illegal as it jeopardises segregation and is still classed as touting, no matter what price (if any) is charged.

The Ticket Touting (Designation of Football Matches) Order 2007

This effectively means that the legislation in place to deal with ticket touting surrounding football matches applies across the board to all games played within England, all games that English sides may be involved in and all games that the national team of both England and Wales will be involved in.

The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006
Section 53 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act came into play and amended Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act

Makes it an offence to carry any advertising for ticket touts (remember the price if any is immaterial.)
Does the sale have to be in the course of trade of business?

It used to be a requirement under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act that the sale was in the course of trade of business. This has now been removed by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as this is not a concern from a public order perspective.

http://www.inbrief.co.uk/football-law/ticket-touting-and-football.htm

So how the flying fuk do these ticket websites get away with not being charged with touting as they make no checks on who they sell to?
Is it because they provide funds to fight elections?
Or give politicians/ plod/ local government tickets?
Or am I getting far too cynical?

Also thought the club said that anyone reported to them for selling tickets on, would have their ST removed.
On that kids facebook page- follows the Swans (yeah rightio pal. ) and hooligans united or whatever.
Just another wannabe then.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.
