Mark Warburton favourite to succeed GM.

My guess is that there is something in this. He has contacts with Rodgers, quite possibly Brendan doesn't want to come back, however the board have sounded him out and he has pointed them in Warburton's direction.

I didn't realise Warburton and Rodgers had worked together.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has showered praise on Rangers manager Mark Warburton and advised him to soak up the history of the Glasgow giants.

Rodgers worked with Warburton at Watford, with the pair crossing paths when the current Liverpool manager was the boss at Vicarage Road and the current Rangers manager worked in charge of the academy.

The pair are good friends and earlier this summer, following his departure from Brentford, Warburton joined Rodgers in the big-club manager ranks by taking over at Rangers.

"Mark is a really good guy", Rodgers told a press conference, when asked about Warburton.

I agree.

We'd never put a cross in if he was our manager.

I think if Rodgers was offered the job he'd come back, he aint going to manage a top 6 club again.

Huw couldn't handle Bielsa.

It'll probably be someone unproven or grateful to be in a job.

Bielsa demands complete control of all football matters.

Huw would never appoint him.

I tend to disagree actually. Especially as Pep is there. I'd absolutely love it. Either way, we need change of some sort urgently.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if he does go for a "forthright" character again after his problems with Sousa and Laudrup.

He's done it twice. Would he do it a third time?

Think he needs to take a step back from the football side of things though.
