Out for a spot of Christmas shopping this morning and taking the wife for breakfast. What places are decent in the City centre itself??

I like the cafe in Sainsbury's, nice big windows. There's also somewhere on SA1 which is good, can't remember the name. Neither city centre but I'm guessing you're going by car

My mate swears by The Kardomah. Tried it this week whilst doing some Christmas shopping. Cracking breakfast but way too expensive. Had a brunch type one (shoppers grill) 2 sausage 1 bacon 1 egg tomato and chips, at that was £6.50. Coffee another £2 on top.

Food was good, but not worth the extra in my opinion.

Macdonalds. Delicious coffee and a few of those Sausgae and Egg McMuffins will go down a storm.

Make sure you order a milky coffee with your food - only costs a quid but is ten times nicer than the overpriced shyte served up by starbucks/costa.

You used to be able to get a good brekkie at a stall in the market. Good lunches too. I think it's changed hands now though and I haven't been for a while.

I did it, but I was full as a bull and felt like spewing after. I think it was the 5 eggs.

The alcoholics from the Full Moon could have breakfast there now if Mike wasn't such a miserable bastard.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Seems a lot. They've a regular breakfast advertised here for £4.50 (a free tea/coffee + one refill with breakfast before 11.30)

I like The Kardomah. It's a little like having travelled back in time inside but somehow it works for me.
