Gomis and the new man 15:08 - Jan 20 with 2001 viewsjackrabbit

Depending on how many Swans games Signor Guidolin has seen this season and how much of Bafe he has seen, I think we might not have seen the last of Gomis in a Swans shirt. If all he had seen of Bafe was Monday's game, then he might be contemplating why we are not using him earlier in the game. Yes he was caught offside twice before he had even touched the ball, but his footwork, balance and power for his near-goal attempt was first class. He can be mystifyingly bad but also startlingly excellent at times.

I'm not Bafe's biggest fan, but I have always looked at him, and thought 'somewhere inside there is an excellent striker trying to get out!' I would think that Guidolin might have had similar thoughts.
Perhaps with his experience of developing players, he can get Gomis to realise his undoubted potential. One thing I would be fairly certain of is that he would not sanction Gomis leaving the club before he, Guodilin, has had some time to evaluate him more closely.

“The stupidest thing she knew was for people to act like they knew all about the things they knew absolutely nothing about.”

I agree.
Trouble is, when we play without him it's painful to see there are no strikers on the pitch.
When he came on we looked more likely to score.

It's just the internet, init.

Give him a go against Manuel & Co on Sunday. If he under performs, ship him out.

Love to see him start Saturday, with Montero and Ayew on the wings. I do like Routs but would rest him Sunday.

Everton are more than suspect at the back, think we can get at them.

He needs to be taught the offside law.
