I currently have wi-fi in the house but the computer that is in the same room as the router is connected to the router by a cable so connects to the internet through that.
Is there anyway of restricting the access to the internet through that cable, putting a password on it etc?? I've tried to do it through the Superhub (virgin) site but I can't seem to do it.
All help appreciated.

what are you trying to do ?
Do you want to people using the computer to only be able to access the internet if they have a specific password? why?
Or do you want to beef up security to stop hackers getting at the computer. In which case use a firewall,for example Zonealarm free firewall. In Windows 10, the microsoft firewall is supposed to be OK. Make sure you turn it on. |  |
