We've been utter crap every single premier league season for the last few games. It doesn't seem to affect how we start the next.

What an awful game - looked like a bunch of strangers out there, apart from the set piece defending that's becoming painfully familiar.

Someone laughed at me for this a few weeks ago (pre americana) but I think we are going to have serious problems next season. Unless we can exit the Gomis/Ayews of this world without major financial penalty and get good replacements at full back and centre back (and at bastard goalkeeping coach and set piece coach - why isn't Roberts sacked now, today) at least, we will be reliant on the teams coming up being cack. |

Well - it was on HD TV here for me and I really didn't see anyone perform.
Fer's silly early yellow and the later failed attempt at a Cruyff Turn when defending 30 yards out marked his card for me.
Cork was ok, but we were overrun in the middle throughout the first half - he had no chance. Ironically, a switch to the diamond may have given us more control when the game was more open. | |
