Totally agree, but aslong as you have nutters like Wayne La Pierre the CEO of the NRA who puts things in terms of good guys with guns verses bad guys with guns then you will always have these incidents. The NRA regards Europe and the U.K. as uncivilized, because we don't have an armed populace. The thing is these idiots would love to go back to the days of the Wild West when a man had a revolver strapped to their hips. I was in a book store the other day and an attention seeking guy was walking around with a Glock on his hip. While on holiday in Utah or Arizona, I can't remember which, we stopped in a small town at either a Target or Walmart and the pistols and rifles they had on sale was scary. Gun killings over there usually only make the local news and even then they're not the main news.

japan's gun laws are exactly how I wish they were in the states. First you must register intent explaining why you want to be licensed (the government however views as most people don't have a need.. I think that in the US it should be treated a little more lenient in this part) then there is a written test, then a range test. |  |
