I have had reason to buy the odd quality suit over the years, not gone bespoke but bought a quality suit at a proper tailors and had it altered inhouse by their staff. I have had about three in this way and all were very good investments compared to my everyday work suits. I would recommend Slaters in Swansea I bought a Aquescutum suit there and it is very nice quality and looks bespoke to most people.

Bespoke suits. on 20:11 - Jun 15 with 1133 views | Murph75 | I bought an Yves saint laurent suit when I needed to wear a suit for work. It was a true thing of beauty. Unfortunately my expanding waistline now prevents me from wearing it.

Bespoke suits. on 08:47 - Jun 16 with 930 views | perchrockjack | Wife worked for slathers before retiring. They have excellent value for money gear that can be altered on site free of charge. The alterations staff are often time served . If you re in business , a bespoke suit might be worth it. My missus, as was Lorraine , were top class ,highly skilled tailors

It's such a shame that fantastic trades like tailors, cobblers and the like seem to be disappearing. Or am I wrong? | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Bespoke suits. on 09:14 - Jun 16 with 899 views | perchrockjack | It is . Sadly more evidence of cheap Far East labour killing our traditions and skills. Suits of the highest quality are still made here but for mass market we cannot compete. When you think about it, we are to blame as we want the best but not prepared to pay for it. Applies to all

Bespoke suits. on 12:16 - Jun 16 with 836 views | Lohengrin | Head down to London, Perch. If I were you I'd try Welsh & Jeffries or Norton and Sons in W1. Proper suits made to measure, don't waste your time or money on off-the-peg tat.
