Lets be honest we would be absolutely fooked without him, we are a one man team and have been for many years.

We'll never have a tougher job than replacing Leon.

I don't think Moyes expected Leon to start, and didn't plan accordingly. As a result Leon was given plenty of room to do what he does so well.

Watching Leon, Rangel and Routledge work their triangles was like watching john McEnroe playing masters tennis, beautiful to watch, but you know the big hitters will have too much for them.... unless the rest of the team start singing from the same hymn sheet.

Rangel for manager at some point in the future?

I was just this very minute talking about this on Twitter.

I saw my first game in 1972 and Leon Britton is the greatest most consistent player I've ever seen.
I've seen a few players in my time and many of them have had bad bad games but I can count on *one hand the bad games Britton has had.

He's without doubt the greatest player to ever play for us in my opinion.

Watched him play his first game for us away at Exeter in L2 almost 14 years to the day. If you'd told me back then how good a player he would be for us I'd have thought you mad. The greatest Swans player ever.

Subjective of course and I wasn't born in '72 but I can't argue. I would've loved to have seen what Ferrie could have done with him.

Indeed,at our first Prem game at *Maine Road I said to my boy on the way home if Britton is going to go up against the likes of de Jong we are truly fùcked.

I'm not often wrong.

Leon is our modern day hero, but many good and respected judges of football would put The Golden Boy of welsh football, the late great Ivor Allchurch , at the top of any such Swansea list. Just saying.
