30 million?

As Jim Royle would say 'my arse'

I don't think it will be 30, but I honestly believe this is the hold up on the appointment. I wouldn't come here in this position as a manager without assurances over players and who gets the final say and I think Clement is an intelligent guy.

probably a 30 mill kitty but the sticking point is all deals have to go through Jenkins and he takes 10% for consultancy fees and his buddy takes a cut and his buddys buddy takes a cut.

£30 million - a replacement for ash, dynamic midfielder, wide player with end product who can chip in with goals. Feck me what we needed to do in the last window.

However a striker is the priority. He'd better be capable of scoring a hat trick in every game then.

I think we'll spend thirty mil. As long as we sell 45 mil worth of players first.

Because I believe a coach won't take the position here unless there's assurances that players are coming in, in the forthcoming window?? Yeah, that's out there isn't it.

Nope, if he comes, he'll have a contract beyond this season. Nothing to do with cash to keep us up. Don't be so naive. Man up, we're going down!

I've said nothing about going down or staying up so I don't really see where you've plucked that one from. I've simply said he'll want players in the window, which he will. Building process starts as soon as he signs, and that includes players in this window.

Perfect, lets spend half of it on a striker who cannot score in the Premier League!

Yes, no investment of 30 million here, just a pre buy of our "for sale" assets.

Whatever transfer money is made available is probably going to come from sales or loans leveraged against the end of season tv money.
Leaving us next to nothing for the summer without having a fire sale

£30M is basically the £10M left to come from the Bony transfer in two weeks time and the £20M from Ayew that didn't get spent. So no investment, and that is not taking into account any players that we sell.

Spot on Jason. I thought he was making it up with the £30m. Striker being a priority confirmed it.

We don't have £45m worth of players without selling the entire first team.

Knowing Americans it will come with strings attached. We will have to sell some prominent player or two
