I think I have the best piece of the Vetch Field that any Swans fan could ever wish for..... a section of the turf that the groundsman allowed my family to take.
My late Father was one of the biggest Swans fans that ever lived (I have 3 Brothers who are ST holders) so we are all Swans mad in our house; my Mother is 95 this year and she knows as much about the Swans as anyone.
Anyway, back to my story about the section of turf that I mentioned at the beginning of my story, we asked for the turf for one reason, and that was so that we could lay it on my Father's grave, and that's where it so proudly lays.
We are so grateful to the groundsman for allowing us to go into the ground to remove it; thanks Swansea City that piece of the Vetch Field will be with my Father forever âš½ | | | |
