Unforgivable, lazy defending from defensive midfielder and captain, Jack Cork. 17:02 - Mar 11 with 3135 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | He sees the attacker making the run in behind. Yet all he does is point, despite the fact he is marking absolutely nobody. There were many other examples of this throughout the game, however they did not result in goals. He offers very little protection to the defence and his contribution going forward is almost nil. He plays purely to protect the defence, yet he fails to do this so often. Carrying lower league players like him is why we are in the position we are.

Unforgivable, lazy defending from defensive midfielder and captain, Jack Cork. on 17:24 - Mar 11 with 2857 views | Running_Man | Our whole defense is lower league :), there are six Swansea players against 2 attackers (starts out 4), and absolutely no one is marked! We have conceded most goals in the league (61). PC speech before a game must be...."Ok guys, we need 3 goals to win this game" [Post edited 11 Mar 2017 17:25]

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Both goals could be attributed to Mawson's poor positioning. This thread is just trolling. Again. Yawn.

Of course it is. Who knows if Cork knew there was a player coming in behind him - he certainly hasn't got eyes in the back of his head. Their player just attacked the space where Mawson should have been - although that depends on what had just happened before. Leave a hole like that and you're asking for trouble - you'd need to see a longer clip to know why the hole appeared though.
Unforgivable, lazy defending from defensive midfielder and captain, Jack Cork. on 17:33 - Mar 11 with 2762 views | Griffting | I've been a big fan of Fede in his new lease of life, but HOW has he let that go through his legs?? Got absolutely sold by Hernandez going for the ball when he was never getting to it, and he's just completely panicked into misjudging an easy clearance. Again, as the last line of defence in the first goal he should never be rushing out to try and make the 'clever interception' and leave us wide open at the back. Shocking, shocking stuff. You can blame Mawson's positioning but Fede is supposed to be the mature figure at the back and basic concentration lapses at this stage of his career are woeful. [Post edited 11 Mar 2017 17:36]

Unforgivable, lazy defending from defensive midfielder and captain, Jack Cork. on 17:34 - Mar 11 with 2746 views | Zaxx | Quality ball in, no idea what Alfie was doing out there but Cork was doing what he's paid to do and cover the short cross field ball, got caught on his heels a bit but he shouldn't need to track the run, it would only allow anyone following in to have an extraordinary amount of time and space if he did. Centre half issues more than anything but pretty poor from a few there imo.

That's why all the pedestal stuff of the last few weeks is so stupid. Unfortunately Fernandez is no Williams to nurse him through. They are the best we have though, so we have to live with it and hope the good outweighs the bad.
