I've never been able to get excited about reserve team football. They seem to trying to make it into something it's not. But it's a great chance to watch some of our players for next to nothing and great for our young fans of the future to be able to watch our team play. |  |

Yes as I say it's great for youngsters. Families can go tonight and it gets kids interested. I remember going to watch the Swans reserves in the mid 1970s at the Vetch when they had a team in the Welsh League and enjoyed it. | |

The other reason it was such a big attendance is because we were reputed to be signing one of their reserve players who was playing that night. His name escapes me. |  |

When I still lived in Swansea and had a season ticket for the Vetch, your ticket got you into all the home league games and all the home reserve games as well. |  | | |
