My guess is that student loans is both the next PFI and the next PPI. Governments give not a single shit about anything beyond their short term power horizon. We have the instant gratification monkeys running everything that we truly deserve.

Oh and my other guess is that in 10-15 years time or less we will be competing for immigrants with the rest of demographically crippled and talent scarce countries and begging and incentivising them to come to this backward, emptily arrogant, self indulgent, shithole of a country.

Except that it doesn't matter. She could spend an hour every day between now and 8 June running up and down Whitehall speaking in tongues while wearing a burkha and she'd still win handsomely.

Sadly this is true, the result has already been decided.

Unless Murdoch changes his mind before June 8th.

Not a chance.

Ah well, in 5 years time we'll all talk with fondness about memories of the NHS, Social Care, public services, education, the welfare state, workers' rights, human rights, any kind of privacy, Unions, renewable energy...

It's very worrying that that hideous creature is running our country. So out of her depth it's unbelievable.

Probably because it's got little legs to it.

Interesting the writer of that wrote for the guardian for 20+ years but now wants to tell the real stories - is that an admittance he didn't before which kills his credibility?

Vague unfounded allegations of possible wrongdoing that might occur in the future is a nothing story predicated upon hoping something wrong happens.

That mail story you linked was something that had actually happened.

It does show Ruth Davidson to have a sense of humour too.

Your first paragraph! Good on the journalist for raising the issue and making sure that it's more difficult to happen. Cameron and his cronies are/were a disgrace. Need to keep Mother Theresa on the straight and narrow.

And Corbyn's cronyism? Chakrabarti? Abbott? His son?

EDIT: The guy's article was a lot of "what if"ery. Not so much keeping them on straight and narrow as playing to the readers of Byline...

Something very big could be breaking in a day or two regarding HSBC and the Cons, something I am told could eclipse the election fraud scandal by miles.
