Little boy blue on 22:19 - Apr 24 with 3975 views | longlostjack | Walking back towards the station from the game on Saturday, there was a young kid, no older than nine, sitting on the steps just past the footbridge with I presume/hope an older brother/father who was clearly an addict. Don't know what was sadder, the fact that they were sitting there or the sense of normality as fans, myself included, just walked by.

Little boy blue on 23:11 - Apr 24 with 3838 views | Darran | I just watched and had a Google to have a refresh of the whole story, harrowing and I'd run the prick over when he comes out if it was my son that had been shot. It looks like the murdering bastard will only be in his thirties when he gets out. I didn't think the programme was great though it was jumping around from scene to scene too much imo.

Three people have died in London this last weekend, stabbed yet hardly big news ThIs is our problem

Little boy blue on 09:25 - Apr 25 with 3614 views | perchrockjack | Doubt it Darren .but it made for good drama. How these feckers were finally nailed might be worth watching Sadly, it shows how deep the problem we have with "grassing" which is simply the only way of securing evidence . Without public support and information, the Police might as well fook off No Grassing is simply ,or should be, a criminal family s mantra

Thanks Richerd but spicing this kind of story up to make good tv doesn't sit well with me.

I didn't watch the programme, but I don't think I needed to to say what you have wrote there is bang on the money. To categorise criminal layabout scum as working class is an insult to all the hard working, honest people who work their fingers to the bone in low paid jobs to give their families the best lives they can.
Little boy blue on 09:32 - Apr 25 with 3601 views | PURe_Evil | You have completely missed my point, I grew up in a very much lower class household - and the block of flats we lived in was crazy, the middle class like to ignore these issues though. Happy in their suburban paradise.
Little boy blue on 09:37 - Apr 25 with 3587 views | perchrockjack | Understand perfectly Backgrounds ? I ll trade you one with an outside toilet ,no bathroom, crippled breadwinner ,no real benefits But proud good people ,law abiding people, community people Middle class paradise isn't a semi in Sketty

Didn't see one part of that programme where middle class (presumably the victim's family?) or anyone else were shown as having no understanding of working class families problem. The killer could have come from any background as could the victim. It was a senseless shooting, but it could just as easily have been anyone killed. As one who was brought up as working class and proud of it, to cast aspersions on the many law abiding working class families, together with middle class families who have the intelligence to know what those with less than they have are going through, I find your statement strange. know exactly what it is like to have little

Where did I say "all" ? Why would you think for one minute that the background of families, be that class, race, whatever, would have any bearing on their understanding of what problems they might face ? I've never lived in the hovels where the poor people live in South America - it doesn't stop me undersanding the struggles those poor people must face

Proves the drama aspect Darran, shocking bullshit, too close to the event as I said. We're the parents paid for this ? I'm surprised they haven't made a Madeline drama ....... But then when you think about it.

Little boy blue on 09:26 - Apr 26 with 3172 views | STID2017 | I can understand the viewpoint of some who think a drama like this can be hard to take, but the issues need to be there for everybody to see. There are examples of the young no-marks everywhere you look locally, together with examples of misfits like the youngster who hid the gun because he wants to fit in and was too afraid to say no. Doesn't excuse any of what happened that evening, but it is frightening how it is in plain sight in front of us but many of us don't (or refuse to) see it. I attended an award ceremony last night where Lee Trundle and some of the Ospreys presented awards to youngsters from the NPT area. I was thinking that given these youngsters' circumstances, they could easily have fallen through the cracks and ended up in "gangs". It's a very fine line.
