At least a point needed 08:42 - May 7 with 1097 viewscmajack

Next Saturday think we need at least a point to keep palace interested v hull defeat next week would leave us unable to catch palace due to their vastly superior goal difference hence they would be safe. Great day yesterday everyone was superb players staff and crowd were immense it was like the good old days when the vetch was really rocking .

Swans need to win or at least aim to win to keep it in our own hands, ifs its all square with a few minutes to go and Sunderland are on top then fair enough take the draw but Swans need to desperately try and win the game and if they walk off the pitch having gained a draw we might well stay up but the players and manager should be disappointed in that scenario.

Year in year out, teams at the bottom beat teams on paper they shouldn't when relegation is on the line, just look at the bookies odds they know this and offer restricted odds, it happens time and time again, yesterday was typical Hartlepool United beat a team that would have won the title if they had won in their attempt to stay in the football league, Newport County beat one of the form teams in the division to stay in the league.

Its good that Palace are not mathematically safe, Hull would have a better chance away to teams in the top half such is football when one team has everything to play for even if they are inferior to the opposition if the opposition dont have anything to play for, perversely for Sunderland the pressure is off them against us, the likes of Soton or Stoke or WBA or Everton or WHU etc who have proved themselves to a degree and don't have much to play for Sunderland players need to show they are players of a certain level and play for contracts/transfers and they no longer have the pressure of relegation on them.

Swansea have a better chance of staying up than Hull now but it could still go Hulls way, Swansea need to do all they can to win against Sunderland which forces Hull to win away to Palace and if that happened it would be all on the last day with Swans behind Palace on goal difference and Hull a single point behind Swans and Palace.

Swans win and Hull don't [draw] its 99% certain Swans stay up [Hull lose Swans win Swans stay up], If Swans win and Hull win then its all on the last day between the 3 of them and Swans might well have to beat WBA to stay up as teams fighting for their lives might very well beat Tottenhamhotspur and Manchester United [particularly if they don't have anything to play for], its what happens in football.

Come on Swans win against Sunderland to stay up/keep the dream of staying up alive.

Yes, we need to win. Last thing we want is to be giving Hull the kind of shot in the arm they gave us yesterday. I think they may implode going into their Palace game if we win at Sunderland.

There we go today, Blackburn, Forest and Brum all win, two of them away from home, two them win by more than a goal against higher placed opposition, yesterday Newport and Hartlepool both won must win games, it happens all the time at the end of a season at all levels.
Swans might have to beat Sunderland and WBA to stay up [winning 4 and drawing 1 of their last 5], I'm hopeful that wont be the case but the fans and players and manager cant relax as its far from done yet.
