What a classy Lady, back on the streets straight after losing the leadership vote, a real conviction politician. |
She came third, out of three! The party were right behind her

She was up against the best politician in the UK in Adam Price and a polished performer in Rhun ap Iorwerth.

Aye, right-o. Listen, if she’s at a loss what to do with all this time she suddenly has on her hands I’ve got a big stack of ironing up here. I’ll pay her of course, I wouldn’t expect her to do it for nothing.

We disagree then. Three top candidates, but the lady from the Rhondda is the most popular politician in Wales. Plaid has willingly lost an asset. South Walian, welsh learner, left wing socialist. ✅ Pod lwc Adam, she is a tough act to follow. And - why are Labour replacing Carwyn with Drakeford ? Talk about nothing much changing.

I'm a huge Leanne fan and have been since her early days the membership went for Price because he is seen as the "Mab Darogan". I would not be surprised if Leanne becomes leader again sometime in the future. [Post edited 2 Oct 2018 22:19]

You're wrong there, something has changed, Labour has managed to put an even bigger idiot in charge. Drakeford was a complete failure as health secretary, Gething managed to be just as hopeless. Drakeford is responsible for Welsh Brexit preparations now, lord help us. I wonder if Drakeford ever wondered why every hospital he visited looked immaculate and had plenty of staff despite the rising complaints, the funding cuts and the bad press? When he visited Morriston a building that hadn't had any maintenance in years got the works, new carpets, full paint job etc. They found the money for that for his visit!

Is this for laughs? Feel that everytime I've heard Adam Price talk he sounds like he's just taken off his foil cap.

Look at his eyes too, there's something not right in there, something bursting to get out that he struggles to contain.....not sure what but he is a rabid nationalist who desperately wants his small party to rule over the majority and ignore the majority's wishes.

He is a socialist, his family from what I hear just like many of his ilk are old Labour, but Labour abandoned the working class and became right wing Tories. The last General Election I voted Labour was 83', I stayed true to my roots and principal's, Price, Wood, Black etc was abandoned by the Labour party, they are old Labour. Its amusing that any old Labour voter could be reguarded as a nationalist isn't it.....hmm. [Post edited 3 Oct 2018 11:31]

‘Socialism’ comes in as many hues and shades as Katie Price’s offspring but the one thing I can reckon with some surety is that his understanding of the concept will be nothing like yours, Tramp.

Didn't he also once take legal action against his own daughter to recover things he'd given her as a child? The same daughter he walked out on when she was ten years old? Lovely guy Nev.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

***Leanne Wood*** Cheering thread [dance] on 10:55 - Dec 6 by Lohengrin | Castro’s Cuba. What’s the attraction for her, Tramp? The concentration camps for homosexuals or the Rum? The smart money points to the deteriorating, blotchy complexion. I’ll go with Rum. |
Must be the superb health system there, Loh. The health system so great Castro as treated abroad... When I hear muppets praising Cuba, I remember the documentary about those 6th form politics lovers, Manic Street Preachers playing there. The immortal words from Nicky Wire... "well, there are human rights issues but we don't really want to talk about that"

I saw that myself. Staggering, really. The blind spot the left have for atrocities of their own devices is quite disturbing. I saw Christopher Hitchens interview Eric Hobsbawn up at Hay some years ago. Hitchens asked him, and I’m paraphrasing from memory here, something along the lines of given everything we now know about Stalin would you still have supported him in the ‘30s? Without hesitation Hobsbawn answered yes. It was allowed to pass without further comment. I was sat there with pursed lips just thinking... wow!

Christmas is coming. Give your Mother the present she has always longed for, prove the neighbours wrong and show them she actually did give birth to a son. You can do it. I believe in you...

Liz taking the opening session and Leanne taking an afternoon session, apparently free travel and accommodation for members aged 14-30. Young people are the future, I wonder if there will be lessons in national liberation, republicanism, socialism [or is that social justice these days] etc, Plaid looking for the next Liz, Leanne, Adam, Gwynfor, Saunders etc. [Post edited 7 Dec 2018 6:45]

What are they looking for, Tramp? Two of those you mentioned were practicing Christians, one more accurately described as a Christian mystic. One was an avowed Monarchist, arch-Conservative adherent of Platonic Arisokratia, the other an attendee at the 1936 Nuremberg Parteitag. Fun fact of the day: Both would have expelled Leanne Wood without hesitation.

Here is a pic of the future for you Lohengrin with a nice array of flags. PS I could put some pics up of the lovely Leanne and the lovely Liz at the event as apparently they were coaching the youngsters for the future, but you have seen enough pics of those lovely ladies on here. Im sure you find the flag of the image of a guy who was said to be guarded by a 1000 soldiers in a jail all on his own for about a decade at one time interesting . [Post edited 21 Jan 2019 16:00]
