From everything I've been able to gather it's been Leicester vs. Everton for his services. Leicester bailed at £40 million. Everton have raised the game to £45 million but we're holding out for £50 million.

Some site is claiming that we and Newcastle have made an enquiry for Arsenal's young English right-back Carl Jenkinson.
This is probably bulsh*t but I would like to see it happen.
Jenkinson would be perfect;
- Will provide stiff competition to Naughton
- Could easily take Naughton's 1st team place
- Is versatile
- Is experienced
- was handpicked and promoted into the Arsenal 1st team by Wenger (he knows a good player when he sees one)
- Is Home Grown
- Would not break the bank.
- Has something to prove.

I remember that commentators during the play-off finals were absolutely RAVING about this guy. Certainly he looked like he had a lot of potential but was perhaps just inconsistent enough not to be a big star.
