Kirky's Transfer Rumour Mill Thread 19:47 - May 14 with 114229 viewsTheKirkyLife

Since our Premier League survival is now confirmed I thought it was about time that we look positively to the future for those legendary £5 million Jenkins' Specials. Who knows? We may even spend £10 million on individual players. I'll be updating the thread with every transfer rumour I come across. Feel free to read, discuss and so forth.

First entry is the bi-annual "is Bony coming home?" rumour. The Daily Mail reports that City are ready to sell for £15 million with us and the Hammers ready to start negotiations.

Or he could turn out to be as good a signing as mawson. We have to look at promising youngsters from the championship as well as abroad

Did you see how many times Borini was talking to Clement? You'd swear he wanted to come back...

Kone was decent with Sunderland. As was Pickford and of course Defoe. Can't remember much of Ndong.

Llorente linked with Chelsea again. File under 'he'd hardly play if he went, does he want money or football?'

Possibly to newly-promoted Levante?

http://valencia.eldesmarque.com/levante-ud/noticias/24644-el-levante-ud-quiere-f

Article's in Spanish but it basically says Swansea are looking to sell and Levante are willing to buy. They'd prefer a loan deal but if they can sell their striker, Roger Martin, for €15m they would be more open to the move.

They probably won't be paying the kind of fee we should be getting for him, though, so we need to wait it out for better offers.

Lukaku to Chelsea for £70m. If you add in the extra TV money they'll get this year, Everton will have some money to splash on Siggy.

If we are looking to trawl the Championship for good young players who have potential to improve then we could do worse than sign or at least consider Kalvin Phillips,21yrs,of Leeds, hard working skilful midfield player who played in 40 games for Leeds last season.Leeds were on the TV many times last season so must admit that's where I saw him play but he really looked a talent.

"Bournemouth are willing to offer Jermain Defoe a three-year contract worth £115,000 a week. The 35-year-old Sunderland and England striker is soon to be available on a free transfer. (Sun)"

What it would take to get Defoe.

Not worth it at that price.

The story that gave me a good giggle is that Barca and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Sissoko.

All the ladies used to call me that, I have no idea why.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Got to be a fair whack of their entire transfer budget.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Every team below Everton is going to get an extra £20m-£40m from this years tv deal. It will be interesting if anyone can spend it all wisely.

Makes it all the more frustrating that we used to and then stopped.

Jenkins should be forced to self-immolate if this happens.

Small clubs do not cut deals for their best players.

£25m is nowhere near Siggy's value on the open market, and Levy is probably wetting himself to work with HJ again.

I'm being optimistic, though, and I'll file this under bbullshitt.

of the Hull players, i think Sam Clucas is the best and would be an upgrade over several options in the midfield

Hull's only quality players were Robertson their left back and Maguire. Their keeper was okay and Markovic is better than any of our wingers but the amount any of them would cost would not be worth the upgrade to our team.
