This is an excellent question.
The police ride their horses in our road every day on their way back to where they are kept (in Hammersmith, a place renowned for being a great place to ride...) and they almost always have a large 'toilet experience' on their way. No idea why they don't have to clear up when I can be fined £1k if my dog goes and I don't clean it. Bloody surly they are as well. They had a real go at one woman whose dog barked at them for not making sure her dog was well socialised. Quite how you are supposed to socialise a dog in London to be used to seeing horses in the road is beyond me. | | | |

Plod horses ? Did an attachment with Dog Section many years ago. Dept and grounds were shared with Mounted who I hated. Most saw the job as a hobby .
