Alright you lovely people,I've spent the last hour trawling through reviews etc,and I'm fed up,so I'm asking the oracle that is PS, Sunday lunch in the Swansea area (ish).
We usually go to The Westbourne but fancy a change, what are your recommendations.
Thanks in advance 😀

If you fancy a drive try the Pen y Cae. Then a pint in the ancient Britton nearby. Lovely part of the world

For a special occasion as it's a bit pricey although good value compared to many to be honest, they do a beautiful Salt Marsh leg of lamb for a Sunday lunch in Fairyhill.

They also do lovely lamb for Sunday lunch in Sketty Hall. Nice setting as well and three course lunch is twenty quid.

Thanks Lisa. Do you know of anywhere else as I feel it may be difficult to get in those places today without booking?
I was wondering one of the north gower pubs, maybe in Llanmadoc or Cheriton perhaps?

Driving past the Monksland in Scurlage on Fri, I could see they do Sunday lunch from 12-4pm, most places are only 12-2 12-3 so perhaps booking isn't essential.
The Brittania would need to be booked.
Enjoy!

I love lamb me but it's extortionate to buy these days. I did treat us last week though and slow cooked the f*ck out of a knuckle end half leg. Cowing lush it was.

Lean lamb steaks from Sainsburys are superb, as an alternative to going out of course!

I hate going out for Sunday dinner. There's always loads of old people and unruly kids. Plus, the older I get the more antisocial I become.

The best flavour of all. Have you tried Billy upton's in the market? £just over 15 for a leg of lamb there. And very nice too

Nah I rarely venture into town these days. Billy Upton is a proper butcher's name though fair play.

They do a beautiful carvery on a Sunday, upstairs at St. Helens. Bit awkward to book, but well worth the effort.
