The only fixture that would suit me would be Newcastle away because that day is my sister's 70th birthday bash and she lives about 20 minutes from St James' Park. Failing that, any away game that I wasn't planning to go to as I'd hate to miss a home game. If Darran is right about the Palace away rumour, that would do me nicely.

Brighton away (nice weekender in the sun) or Burnley home (probably easiest fixture we could have)

Nooooo! I live in Bromley and I'm really looking forward to trip to Brighton for the fixture but I'm on hols for the first 2 weeks of the season. Newcastle away first up would suit me.

I'm happy that we're not wondering whether it will be Burton, Brentford or Millwall like Hull are.

Yes mate very true ....still hasn't TOTALLY sunk in that we are still in PL going back to that day not so long ago when Hull could have beaten Sunderland at home in their 3pm kick off before we played Everton in the late kick off to go FIVE POINTS ahead of us 🙈🙈🙈

Still pinching myself really thought we were well and truly down and out 😉

Same here mate.
That day was pivotal to our survival.
I was at Newport that day watching Newport county pull off their survival. I honestly thought that day hull would win and we would draw against Everton and us being a good 3-4 points behind. Such was our season.
Never did I think we would be out the bottom 3 that day and watch Newport survive.
How the hell did both clubs stay up after being doomed for so long in the season? 6 managers between us both last season as well.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

We need winnable games in first 6. Why ? Because the minute we drop into the bottom 3 media pressure mounts. 9 points from first 6 games and we are under the radar from the gutter press and no pressure.

Indeed. Poor results would put our board under the spotlight too. We couldnt possibly have that either.

Dear me. So 6 games in, bottom 3 and you don't think there will be media pressure ? The press will be hounding the manager. There will be talk of changing room unrest and the manager losing the dressing room. If you think different then you are deluded.
It has happened before... Check out last season !

Nope, you've lost the plot. Show me a link from last season that stated after 6 games the press were hounding the manager, there was 'changing room unrest' (whatever that means?), and the manager losing the dressing room?
