Can't hold that against them but yes, you're right - it's all about the songs and Dave Grohl like Cheap Trick has a great knack for pop songs. It doesn't matter it they're played hard and fast and a bit rough around the edges they are 100% bona fide great pop songs.

Grohl is a decent guy but to me it was all noise and not much substance. If lots of posing and hair waving is your bag then I guess it is what the masses wanted.
As for good pop songs then Ray Davies he is not.
Radiohead are too far up their own asses with little recent commercial success to warrant their listing at Glasto.

The crowd didn't complain and as a Radiohead fan they played everything I more or less expected them to play.
As Ed O'Brien said "We are not headlining, we are just a part of a massive and fantastic cultural festival where you have to leave your ego at the door".
