The Hatton Garden Job - Excellent (didn't realise until after it was based on a true story - seemed too far-fetched)
Lion - a bit slow but builds up to a great ending

Battleground for about the 15th time, and The Ryman for the first time.

Trainspotting 2 - didn't think I'd enjoy it but I did.
Bill Murray has made some excellent films but also some "near misses" St.Vincent I enjoyed, Broken Flowes was ok, What about Bob was ok, Stripes and Groundhog Day superb |
I'll wait for T2 to reach cable so I can watch with subtitles. Trainspotting was 10x better when I watched it a 2nd time that way and could finally understand 90% of the dialogue. 
Hasn't anyone seen Dunkirk yet? Definitely the next film I'll go to the movies for, been dying to see it. |  |

I watched this recently too. It's a lot better than thought though tbh. Gal Gadot is definitely worth watching for 2 hours or so. It's not as feminism fest as i thought either.

Watched Titanic with our two girls.
One (13 years old) turns round and says "What's all the fuss about this Titanic anyway ?"
Paused the film and gave her a short, sharp history lesson.
It is honestly my belief that kids see so much death & tragedy in fiction and real life, that they become almost immune to it.
Sad state of affairs

"Their Finest"..............mainly because I was in it. Had a close-up reaction shot in a boardroom/war office type scene. Used to seeing myself on television programmes, but weird seeing myself on the big screen, so clearly. I nudged my wife, saying "There I am!" ...........and she responded with "I know what you look like, for god's sake!"..............followed by two women sitting behind, and one says "He looked like Adolf Hitler!!"......................I did too! |  |
