I believe they were after young Alex Samuel, but he's gone further afield.

Good luck to County this year, it would be good for Welsh football if they could make a go of it this season. I personally don't see them as competition anymore, I see it as an opportunity for Swansea to loan out some of the up and coming youngsters whilst still being able to monitor their development.

That pitch needs sorting.

aren't the WRU paying for a pitch the same as the Liberty for the Dragons?

thought wanted put 4g surface there but they can't because it's not allowed in football and newport have a contact to play there

They are laying a new 'Desso' pitch pre season. And have asked the FA for one of their home fixtures to be reversed so the pitch can settle. Which has been agreed. So their first game at home on their new pitch will be end of august/September.
I fully agree that county should be looked at as a great opportunity from our academy point of view.
In sgoriofruits ideal world Ollie mcburnie would go there, score his usual hatrick per game and county enter league 1 next year.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

It won't be 4g, they are having the same pitch as the Liberty. Some on here would know more, but isn't it 50/50 artificial to real grass ratio?

Still though, they have three sides playing on the pitch, two of those being rugby sides Newport RFC and Dragons, so it may struggle to hold up.

Fingers crossed though, I'm down there regular on a Friday night watching the Dragons, for my sins.

Strange that he's dropping down the pyramid to find his level?

Not really, I'd say it was fairly obvious from his limited time with us that he wasn't a footballer.

Was he the one who disappeared down the tunnel during the game, never to be seen with us again?

From memory it's more like 1% or 2% artificial

Yeah, I was at that one too. Evening game. I think he was as surprised as anyone when he scored. I'll be kind and say his footballing ability was / is limited.
