Is it just the influence of modern media, or are we entering a new era of politics? On the right we have:

- May the fraud who campaigned for remain, but is now hell bent on pushing us off a cliff into a hard brexit
- The DUP money tree
- Gove stating that those who don't benefit from HE shouldn't pay (whilst ironically claiming back an elephant lamp for £130 - how the f*ck does that benefit the taxpayer?)
- proposed boundary changes

On the left we have:

- Corbyn who is providing no such opposition to Brexit. I read that someone said it would be 'political suicide' for him to have campaigned for Brexit...
- Abbott and Lammy who think it's acceptable to use someone's ethnicity to slur their competence
- The talk of deselection of MP's who don't toe Corbyn's line (ironic given his stance over the years)

I do shudder at the thought of the next decade...

The DUP money tree HaHaHa.£1 billion that is to be spent on the good of Northern Ireland compared to Corbyn trying to bribe kids with writing off £100 billion off debt and spending
£10 billion every year to fund free universities to allow the young to spend an extra 3 years in
school.

I only briefly caught Vince Cable's interview yesterday but he struck a chord. He said that the 60% who don't go to University have been neglected and that is where we need investment. The new T levels, whilst 20 years too late are critical in filling the skills gap that Brexit will bring.

It's all about keeping in power. Nothing else seems to be important these days. May flip flops almost daily to try and appeal to the broadest demographic possible.Corby is doing exactly the same.

At a time when were told trust in politicians is at an all time low, they seems to be giving us reasons to trust them less. We have no idea what we are voting for these days - how many pledges has May gone back on already - most of the main ones she campaigned on (not that she gave us much detail in the first place)?

If you don't know what you're going to get it makes you wonder what the point of voting is.

The complete arrogance and patronising attitude by some towards young people is one of the reasons why they came out in droves to support Corbyn.

Even the man who put up tuition fees says they should be scrapped.

On a broader note, I watched Michael Moore's "Where to Invade Next" the other day, showing the benefits of contemporary Socialist policies in European countries. It's a good watch if you're open minded enough.

Must be great to be called Adonis.

I'm veering more to the left as I get older, as the Tory-model of selling everything off and putting the shareholder ahead of the customer seems increasingly perverse. I'd certainly support broadening education to as many people as possible and to as high a level as possible, at a level that's affordable (ideally free). As you say, it works in other European countries where there are 'modern' socialist policies.

We've been ripped off for years .
The country's that run our rail network who we substantially pay to run it ,have their own state owned rail networks.
We've sold everything off .
Brexit, making Britain great again - we don't own f@ck all.
It's a Mind numbing .
We need to get more socialist policies in , for the benefit of everyone.

There's a debate to be had Tommy, no doubt about that. We need to reinvigorate our manufacturing and digital skills.

The thing is Jack people are believing their rhetoric, be it "strong and stable" (snigger) or "freebies for all"

The standard is poor.

Post maybot - its that idiot Boris and Gove, vs 1850's gent Rees-Mogg.

Post Jezza - its Burnham vs Keir vs Chuka vs older Miliband.

Labour way stronger.
