Wasn't Llorente apparently linked to Chelsea for £16.5m?
Hernandez is a bargain if it's really only £13m.

Shows how crazy UK to UK transfers are now

Selling Llorente for Hernandez plus the £3.5m change would be an amazing bit of business IMO

Lets hope he's the striker we have been waiting for to supplement Llorente and Abraham,if don't show some interest in him then you begin to wonder who we are after.

I'd think wages and London would be a massive difference to him coming here if we ever showed an interest.

Yes he is a top class player but at wages of £130k a week ?

plus as good a finisher as he is he struggles with back to goal and to hold the ball up

Not sure he would flourish in 1 up front role, hardly in the bony/llorente mould is he?

We would have to go two up top to get the best from him if we sign him

I am a little surprised we didn't give the 2 up top formation a proper crack during last season with Baston.

Obviously under BB it wasn't going to work with our shambolic gameplan (lack of), but with a more solid defence (and hence more confidence in our players to attack) it could've been different.

Another one who can’t play up top on his own.

Massive wages too.

Agreed.

Just a better version of Tammy, but won't work in our system.

I would take him over tammy, and Sakho any day.

Decent finisher who needs creative players around him to give him the chances to score.

Which is a problem...

Not banging in goals for West Ham, who have better creative players than we do so why would we want to buy him?

West Ham are selling him because he isn’t cutting the mustard at the foot of the Prem.

Recently WHUs salaries have risen. They were at one time similar to SCFC but not any more. Too much pressure for him I reckon, he wont come even if we approach.

He looked a pale shadow of his former self when he was subbed off in the last WH game I saw on TV.

Well he’s been a failure at West Ham so you haven’t exactly won the argument.

I’m talking about when we bought Bony.

We spent that money then!

I agree that now we wouldn’t, but if you had the choice of Bony or Chiquarito, surely there’s an obvious winner there.

I don’t see how I’ve lost any credibility there for a fair and just opinion.

The £13m thing was more of a pop at the other poster, not you. Mind you, he think Wolves spending £40m on young Italian players is "sensible".

Hernandez is in no way, shape or form a one-up top kinda player. Abraham has better attributes for that than he does. Maybe in a 2 but still, not for that sort of money.

Give me Bony every, single, time. The ball wouldnt get out of our half at all with JH up front by himself.

Fair enough, but my choice would be JH.

We’ll never know, but i really Do think WB was a disaster signing.

Mexico is going to the WORLD CUP in Russia this Summer. He will do what ever he can to prove himself (and get in shape).

If we can sign him or loan him - do it.

The problem with Bony is he never plays because he is constantly injured.

Hard to score for Swansea when you sit at home and watch the match on the tv.

He's been rubbish for a better team than ours this season. Are people still getting excited over the ex-United tag?
