Good news for Newport too. It becomes a suburb of a proper city, in Bristol. Should do a fair bit for land prices in Newport and Chepstow.
I presume this means M5 from Worcester and M4 to Cardiff will be whanged, and Monmouth and Chepstow avoidance traffic might largely disappear unless it remains quicker because of the motorway traffic volumes.
