He is rarely brilliant, he is never unplayable. He is occasionally made to look that way when teams don't set up properly against him.
He is too much of a luxury as a starter or a normal sub. 3 rare occasions I'd use him
As part of a double substitution with a centre forward coming on for a midfielder if we are chasing the game and want to go more direct.
When the opposition are down to 10 men and there are more likely to be gaps for him to exploit.
