Bony, Wilshere etc. the route to relegation? 16:39 - Jul 24 with 1261 viewsJACKMANANDBOY

Too many relegated clubs have brought a series of premier league players who have not made it over the years, invariably they seem up to to task but just don't deliver for whatever reason.

I'm thinking Sunderland, Portsmouth, QPR, Newcastle, Hull, Villa etc.

Wilshere is a good player, the injuries are his problem.

If we do get 60M for both Llorente and Siggy combined and lets say we add Wilshere, Chadli and Bony for starters for lets say 40-40M..........i think we can be happy. Throw in a few others then we will be looking good.

Team could look

FABIANSKI

NAUGHTON-FEDE-MAWSON-OLSSON

MESSA

CARROLL-WILSHERE

CHADLI-BONY-AYEW

That looks a strong eleven.

Well Bony did make it in fairness he just chose the wrong club wherer he was never going to get regular games ahead of Aguero.

Wilshire is a good player just injury prone. We signed Fabianski,Fer,Carrol, ollson and Naughton, they have all done ok, amazing but solid enough to help the team.

The biggest problem is not always the players it's how they are being used.

IMO what has held us back recently is an unclear way of playing and transfer policy, not using the strengths of Borja or Gomis and trying to fit them into a different way of playing, teams like Newcatle ,Sunderland and Villa have suffered with the same lack of identity which has meant signing the wrong type of player coupled with a high turn over of managers .
Jordan Ayew looked fine in our team but was apparently awful for the most part with Villa.
Thats my take on it anyway ..
