We've got enough positions that need upgrading. With half a season of evidence, Olsson looks a good left-back. Not a superstar, but good enough for us. Kingsley had his ups and downs last season, but so did the majority of the team. He's shown some promise and as others have said, let's not give ourselves another position that needs a new signing.
Besides, it would be nice to see one of our Falkirk signings work out... |  |

Kingsley is another year older and is coming off his first extensive PL experience, plus becoming a full international. Odds are he is going to improve and could well push Olsson this season. Stating that a 22-year old is simply not good enough off the back of around 15 PL appearance is nonsense.
Besides to replace him with a 'better' player would almost certainly mean spending more than we would receive for selling him. With so many holes in the squad, left-back is probably at the bottom of the list for new signings, ahead of perhaps only goalkeeper. | |

I like him always does ok when he plays and doesn't kick up too much of a fuss if he doesn't start every game

Spot on Kingsley has been decent enough when he's played, yeah he's made a mistake or two, but he's young enough to have learnt and will learn from them, that said name me a player who hasn't made a mistake in our squad.
He's good enough has backup and young enough to learn enough to become first choice. |  |

Player has to be trained for at least 3 years before the age of 21 withing the English pyramid system to be classed as homegrown.
