The whole site is not going at this moment in time, my friend works there and his job is ok at the moment. I think they still do nappy 'Scotch' tape? The money is really good but I think wages have stayed the same for at least 5 years. He has an Audi company car.

Really well payed firm with excellent perks. Future looks ok for the short term anyway. He travels to Lincoln, Frankfurt, Minesttoa, Bracknell, etc. Problem solving problematic lines and/or seting up new lines. Also can control productions from Gorseinon. As mentioned nice perks of working for 3M's

Dad always had Ford Granada's from 3M, those were the days!
I spoke to someone who works at 3M last week and is in the know, there are no plans to take the tower down, just to demolish some small "outbuildings" onsite and nothing more.
IT most certainly isn't, I was brought up with the Tower in the distance and the hills further afield from the bedroom window, a Gorseinon icon.
Was speaking to dad the other week about it and he said when they used to spray paint it back in the day, there used to be numerous claims regarding cars parked in the adjacent car park hit by speckles of blue.
