Over the years, teams on downward spiral who only just avoid relegation one season do tend to go down eventually. Im thinking Villa, Sunderland, there must be others. Im a bit worried we may follow suit. Id be happy with 17th tbh. Id like to see us play with a bit more conviction and excitement, regardless of the eventual placing. |  |

Have we been that dependent on him because we'd morphed into a team that couldn't create many chances from open play? Would we be that dependent on him if PC gets the team playing some semblance of decent football again?
That's not decrying his ability from open play. He's better at that than he's often given credit for. Just a consequence of the changes Monk made left us dependent on the set piece part of his game. |  |
