No I didn't watch the game, but the fact remains they had two shots on target. Unless Fabianski was coming out of the box making tackles on the approach to goal it is what is expected really, a goalkeeper to save shots on target.

Good keeper and adjusted his style on distribution. Taking more time to line up a back pass and welly it 50 yards to the half way side line. Far better. Has strong points to his game and improved the weaker points by getting the defence to use his Clems long bomb. He should not be allowed to pass under pressure. Not his game with all due respect unless we are playing Sampdoria in a friendly. We were under pressure which only makes things harder. If it goes out on half way good touch kick. Tactically effective stuff. Challenges lie elsewhere now with a borderline squad and 3 players short of a good squad. |  | | |
