Just ordered one of these with Alexa voice remote.
Only skimmed through a few reviews but see that apps like showbox,movie HD,Terranium,Mobdro
Sports mania can be downloaded directly on to the box using Fire DL.
Kodi can also be put on the FS but is there a benefit or need to go through Kodi if apps are can be accessed directly.

The new one with Alexa arebso fast, just set one up for my son. Yes it is worth putting kodi on it even if you only ue as a back up, I put Kodi with a build, SPMc with indivuidual addons, Terrarium tv and Mobdro all done with ES explorer or downloader.
Dont know about flawless but I use Streamcenter which I access through kodi. mit also downloads to tv on kodi although I also use smart iptv on my tele (I loaded up my subscription to streamcenter to it |  |

You have to add the build yourself. It's all out there kn the interweb. Personally nit a fan of builds. Just do the add-ons tailored to my likes. I'll add some links later to some people to follow who review and show how to do the add-ons etc | |

epaul,I know how to put the add ons on to Kodi.as you know there are countless YouTube guides but thank you anyway.
I will only use the FS for the occasional film and tv series and just use mobdro and the like through the FS for footie.So no real need for Kodi.
