If we replaced Siggy with Chadli and Bony alone then that would be a great result for us. Great.
If we can eek another one out of the greedy bastard's money then WONDERLAND.
That's the way we've got to do it - use the money to find 2 or 3 decent additions to strengthen across several positions rather than replace with a similar player. Clem's said as much too I think.
Not sure about Bony - time out worries me that he may be a busted flush. But if he's capable of being the player he was it's a no brainer. Whoever it is, we need at least 2 players who can change a game in the final third. Our current 'forwards' bar Llorente can't.
Mahrez is an absolute non starter. I'd guess Allen is very unlikely too.
Yes unless he puts in a transfer can't see that happening missed the boat last summer but Jenkins was busy taking us to another level and brought Baston in instead.

Chadli turned his nose up at us previously.
Trying to get my head around this - Sigurdsson told the club that he wanted to leave last May and now with 11 days before the close of the window we are sniffing around for Chadli who has failed to impress at WBA ?

Someone on here was saying the opposite - that Chadli was down here, ready to sign last summer when Levy decided to increase his price beyond what we were prepared to pay. No idea of the truth behind the claim, but let's not assume he turned us down just because he ended up at West Brom. Similar could be said about Allen.
You know the last two games, when all we had to bring on from the bench as a game changer was young Ganglesocks? Now imagine that was Bony running on. If Llorente leaves for Chelsea (or any time he's injured) we're reduced to playing a couple of kids up front, neither of which have ever scored in the PL.

I'm embarrassed to see McBurnie come on to be honest. What a terrible situation for the Club to be in (for him as well).
