People slate Jose but in fairness he often sticks up for other managers, clear to see after the game he had some genuine love for clement and his words in the presser will magnify the pressure on the board to produce signings for Paul.

Well played Jose! now send us some of that talent on the cheap for loan please!

You don't have to that clever to realise that the squad is desperately weak much in the same way that these glaringly obvious weaknesses have been created by the mis handling of our recruitment for the best part of 4 years.

Jose said it as it is and he's forgotten more about football that HJ will ever learn.

Agree . We have been lucky to pull a rabbit out the hat the last few seasons, Bony,Siggy,Ayew and Llorente, but the tipping balance of supporting quality has been in steady decline and thats been a huge problem .

We are still playing Britton,Routs,Dyer,Rangel and if he was still here Ash Williams almost half the same team as when we first got up 6 yrs ago! thats actually mind blowing considering the age of those players, they have been good enough to help us but time is fast catching up and yet nothing has been done to really replace them correctly .

It's total mis management and in any other business People would have lost their jobs for being borderline incompetent, yet they still get to make the same mistakes season after season and think they know better than the coaches and managers they employ.

Maybe he could loan us one or two of Man Us stable of upcoming stars.

I believe he rates Clement highly and there might be some scope there for a deal or two

Poll: Next Swans manager

As much as Rashford is a cheat he is clearly head and shoulders above Tammy, not saying we would have a chance there of course but it shows the level required, Tammy will do ok but in no way will he be our number 1 player on current showing. He lacked support but had 2 great chances that he failed to connect with, it's just fractions at the moment and i'm hopeful he will get round that learning curve sooner rather than later .

Without a decent midfield to create chances we would still struggle with Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez up front. Ffs people need to stop fixating about strikers and realise our midfield quota is in dire need of fresh faces. Two at least. Add a RB, a winger who can actually cross the ball and a pacey 10 and we would be somewhere near being competitive. One or two injuries and we are totally fecked.

"Yossarian- the very sight of the name made him shudder. There were so many esses in it. It just had to be subversive" (Catch 22)

Thats a very obvious thing and i suspect about 22,000 other people realise this too, the point i was making that when Tammy did get his chances he spurned them.

Thats the difference between a player like Llorente and somebody learning their craft. its not a slight on tammy its just a fact that he lacks the required experience at this level and needs more chances to score. .
