Huddersfield v Newcastle. 14:32 - Aug 20 with 3557 viewslifelong

Watching this game gives me the belief that there at least two sides in the league worse than us.

After the top 6 there are 14 sides in a relegation fight

Brighton aren't up to much either. Just by getting those 3/4 players in could be enough to comfortably survive this year.

Huddersfield will probably turn us over there.

Both teams are having shots at goal...

Unlike us....

Right I'm probably being thick here, but when sky showed the table, there was a dotted line under 14th place (our place ironically), what does that mean? I notice that all teams below it are on zero points but they aren't all tied at the bottom on GD...

So that is one team we must be hoping to be relegated now 5 points clear of us already.

I know its a terble way to judge, but after watching match of the day last night and having a quick look at other tems, its my opoinion that there are 8 teams that we can finnish better than.

Bournmouth
Watford
Burnley
West Brom
Brighton
Crystal Palace
Hudersfield
Newcastle

These are all barley above championship standard in my opinin. With the three sighnings that we are reported to be making, I fancy taking 4 points off every one of them.

I like your optimism..

Not sure if its the 4 points off our rivals or the three signings :)

Newcastle looked awful and as for that Joselu who they paid was it £10M for no better that League 1 standard.
Huddersfield hard working team who could stay up.

Mooy looked quality again, some player he is.

Mooy is an absolute jet. Deadly from set pieces as well Looking like a steal at £10m... Surprised we weren't in for him in all honesty - hopefully Clucas (if we get him) can have a similar impact.

Yes they have played two easier teams than we have to start with, but fair play to Huddersfield though, they've taken their chances and deserve their 6 points. Good on them.

This....

There might be a few teams who in the fantasy league are "worse than us", they are at least all creating chances and making the opposition keeper work.

We haven't created anything of note or scored a goal in 180+ minutes so a little reality check might be in order

I thought Watford looked red hot on MOTD, full of pace and energy going forward. OK, their defence and keeper might be weak points.

As for WBA, they might be crap to watch, but Pulis usually puts together a muscular no-nonsense team who can grind out the points, particularly from goals scored at set pieces.

Let's get Llorente back and see how we look then; the Palace game will give us a better idea of how we're placed against our relegation rivals.

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!
