You haven't answered the question.
With all the youngsters in the Academy, how would you develop them when they get to 19/20 year of age?
This is the best competition for them. You also have to take into account that our Academy is new to this level.
Our problem has been that we hang on to players too long that won't step up to 1st team level not playing in this competition. | | | |

The defence did well, and were a tad unlucky with the equalizer, with the ball falling kindly for United. Decent in midfield, with Byers and Evans doing OK, but nothing Earth shattering. Gorre was anonymous apart from his superb goal. Cullen looked lively when he came on - he looked a lot sharper than Gorre or Garrick on the other flank.
I hope Byers gets a roasting from Toshack/Richards. Having been booked for back-chat he subsequently applauded the linesman when a decision went against him. Lucky not to be sent off. Needs to grow up. |  | | |
