Abraham's Goal 22:46 - Aug 26 with 3060 viewsKerouac

...was a top class finish.
Nothing lucky about it!

The defender is holding his shirt and trying to lock arms, Tammy out muscles him and powers in behind...he has a fraction of a second to see the cross coming at him (superb pacy low ball by Fer)...and somehow conjures up a side footed volley to finish.
Pure instinct it was, great reactions on the bloke.

He has a shot of going all the way this boy, can see him playing for England at some stage.

(I can't comment on the rest of the game as I didn't see it, just saw the goal on Match Choice though and was impressed)

Hes just a ''skinny kid'' not worthy of a starting place mun, that's what we were told on here wasn't it?

The boy is class. Will be a house-hold name. No question. I just hope that he develops an affinity to the club and returns one day similar to Defoe at Bournemouth.

It was a sublime finish and one befitting of someone who had played at the top level for many years. He held off the CB, maintained his balance and executed the perfect shot. Well done Tammy, you're off and running.

Both goals in fairness showed what we have missed.
Abraham's goal was as described a class finish, whilst Ayew's in volved a perfectly timed tackle high up the field followed by a perfect pass for Ayew to run on to. He still had a lot of hard work to do and chased the ball down well.
Early days but it's nice to see us in the top half

Great effort and desire to finish that. Wanted it more.

This boy is the business - and it was a great strikers goal.

His real name is Kevin. Just saying.

I think Ayew and Abraham are forming a very nice partnership. One has the dribbling ability and the other has blistering pace and an instinctive finish. They seem to combine well, looking forward to them 'jellying' further.

Yep ayew s efforts clearly disrespected by pundits.

Brilliant steal from Naughton, perfect pass ,courage and class from Ayew to follow the ball and bury it
