Spend some time with the "community" in these areas and you'll see it was meant as a bit of fun. They are up for the crack, old fashioned but nothing else.

I'm not giving anything away here as I know whom is trolling me by the minute but Police have always been press conscious and used media to accentuate good work.its why one sees well mannered ,non foul mouthed officers doing a warrant execution in full view of cameras but now Police are using media to focus on their modernity on countering matters that are " worthy" ,eg racisms,sexism ...Senior Officers are now far removed from what the public want and that s to hit those who really hurt us.

This incident reminds me of when we were in Tenerife a few years ago, there they have a huge problem with boats full of Africans entering the country illegally.
The customs have a large yellow boat which goes out and intercepts these boats and carries the occupants into a harbour where they are detained.
In the annual carnival, which is a huge event, one of the floats was a yellow boat with about 30 blokes in it all blacked up and wearing drealock wigs. Everybody thought it was hilarious. |  | | |

I doubt there's a person in the country who doesn't realise that in 2017 blacking up in this way is at the very least going to be a bit controversial and may attract some publicity. I'm only speculating of course but I'd be amazed if the lads involved didn't discuss that beforehand and the thought that they may get on the news or in the papers paid a large part in them deciding to go ahead with it. It's all part of the "ooh look how un-PC I am" counterculture that's growing among those who are afraid to admit their true feelings on certain issues and prefer to hide behind a mantra of "I defend my right to offend". I don't get it why someone would deliberately set out to try and offend personally but we're all different. | |
