There's always been girls who dress pretty much like guys, be they lesbians or straight tomboys or other. Honestly not sure if that's the same thing or not.
Does taking a dress out of the girls' section make it seem like it's for boys as well? The stereotype would still be there?
Also, you're less likely to be judged by people as a guy looking around the woman's section of a shop, as you could be buying a gift, than you are for actually wearing it... And if you are fine with wearing what you're going to buy and be judged, why would you not be fine with being judged for buying them?
