Yellow v Red cards 21:19 - Sep 10 with 3104 views | Johnw102 | Just got home from the game and been reading here, very surprised that there is no mention of Ritchie's challenge on Alfie which only got a yellow, compared with Mane's red yesterday. Be interesting to see if any comment on MOTD2 later.

Which is fine by me, but not if we go away next week and one of our lads see red for an identical challenge. It was a red card yesterday, assuming Mane's doesn't get rescinded, it should have been a red today. Can't have different outcomes for literally identical challenges.

Liverpool said they weren't going to appeal. they may change their mind after seeing that today. If anything Richie was more out of control as both feet were off the ground.
