Lacking match fitness, confidence and needs to look up where he his passing. And get to know the team and how they make their runs etc.

Still has snippets of quality about him.

His twists and turns were buying him an extra couple of seconds of time on the ball in the opponents half, allowing him to face his marker and attempt to take them on. Unfortunately what followed that was usually a misplaced pass or dispossession.

He was the only midfielder we had who looked capable of driving forward into their half and making something happen. I think he'll do well.

Also fair Dwight. You're posting quality, son.

Sanches looks unpredictable and opponents will be wary of him. Hopefully, our manager can utilise this .

Be nice to see him and Mesa together

Watching that link back, Clucas' positioning is absolutely horrific. Watch where he is whenever Sanches receives the ball out wide. He's hiding behind opposition players, pointing, not making himself available to pass to. £16,000,000 for that is ridiculous.

Yep, as we mostly thought, rusty, needs games will get better and has bags of talent, certainly not the worst effort form a 20 yr old shot of confidence. We must give this guy time and we must support him, if the fans get behind him he will pay us back as the season goes on.

Most of his wayward passing was a lot to do with our players not moving onto the ball, this has been a problem for our team for a while, half a yard too slow in thought , there were a few cracking examples of this in the video, Sanches pass was a yard or two ahead of the player, his mind set is clearly thinking to put players on the front foot, but our players like to get under control, take a few touches wait for the defensive lines to set and then try and play a pass!

He will suss it out and our players will also suss him out, give him plenty of support like our fans did on Sunday and his confidence will grow and scfc will reap the rewards.

Like i said on previous posts, Sanches is the least of our worries, clement has plenty of work on his hands trying to figure out what went wrong on Sunday and how we can create enough chances to stay in the league.

Agree about his passing encouraging players to move on to the ball. Case in point at 23:45 on the match clock. A lovely ball with the outside of his foot (not in a Routledge kind of way) which makes Mawson come forward. It was a nothing pass in the context of the game, but it showed his confidence on the ball. If I have one criticism of our passing it tends to be straight to feet - it's safe but not very fluid and means we're quite static.
