"Effectively, Colwyn Bay are 4 promotions away from league two."

With our Eastern cousins only 2 relegations away from playing them.
Let's hope eh?

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

I'm all for Welsh sides doing their best to maintain their status within the English pyramid system, but let's be honest, it's about time these lot gave up the fight.

What fight? I'd say that these clubs are pretty much playing at their level of ability.

A club like Colwyn Bay should join the Welsh leagues and have the opportunity to give their fans the chance to compete in Europe, have a day out, go abroad and watch your team get smashed once a year! Far better than seeing them (or not bothering going) against Atherton fvckin Colleries!

I'd still say that they ain't in a fight to remain in the English pyramid.

And as long as they play in the English leagues then there is always a chance of progression. FA cup runs etc. Chance to play at Wembley with the FA vase etc etc.

Quite right Gary.

And Merthyr.

WPL much better.

Joining the WPL would basically be an admission that they're a bit sh*t. If they've got the chance to strive for something more they absolutely should instead of settling for third place.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I feel zero affinity with the people or clubs of north Wales.

An arse end of a place too.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

In fairness, Merthyr have hope, they've been a football league member in the past, and whilst it unlikely it will ever happen again, they are at least competing at the level they are at. Unlike Colwyn Bay.

Colwyn Bay are 10th in their league. So what level should they be playing at?
Is the WPL a higher or lower level than their current league?
Two seasons ago Colwyn Bay were a division higher than Merthyr and just one division below Wrexham. Now that was a level they weren't comfortable at.
Where they are now is a nice settled level playing field.

Atherton Collieries 3-1 Colwyn Bay

It matters not where they were two or three seasons ago, fact is they'll never get back there again. Best they come home and hopefully be able to compete in their own countries league and a chance of actually winning something rather than live the dream that's never going to come true.

For Frazier read Merthyr. Zip chance.
