Now I never really liked the cut of his jib, just something about the shifty look-at-my-trendy-beard little git, but from what I've read he has done nothing illegal and the bloke that sacked him was aware of the bristol report (in which Sampson was cleared and allowed to manage England) in 2015 but has only just conveniently read "the detail". He has stressed that nothing illegal was found. So I'm not really sure what he tried to get away with? If he was to be sacked, he should have been punted when that report came out, or the FA should have done a proper job of investigating Aluko's complaint and really found justification to give him the bullet
It seems to me that there was just too much mud being flung at the FA for trying to sweep the Aluko shenanigans under the carpe, so they have found an excuse to get rid of him to try and deflect the flak away from themselves and their tame investigator. I hope they remain under the spotlight and it would be pretty funny if he sued them for unfair dismissal.
