One of my favourite players when I was a wee boy...
Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.
A long time ago now but two things stick in my mind.
The only player to attend our presentation evenings in a white dinner jacket.
And the first one to say to me. " I would close the curtains if Wales were playing at the bottom of my garden."
Fantastic player, and always yearning for the day he could return to Scotland.
I think he said that to me too. I was always told not to mention the cup final but one day he brought it up. I was always a bit scared but in fairness he was a lovely guy to talk with.
Lord_Jack increasingly detached from the riches of kicking a ball
Great player for us. Worth the admission money to watch him do his tricks. Dropped the shoulder and cruised past full backs. Also did well at Merthyr at the end of his career. Lived in South Wales until a few years ago.I went to a sportsmans evening about 6 years ago, and he stayed until about 2am, making sure he went around every table. A star.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
