Old Mickey was at Yeovil v Port Vale on Saturday hoping to weasel his way into the Burslem hot seat for a third spell.
Why did he ever take the Swans job? Wherever he has managed he's complained bitterly about the time it takes to get home to Market Harborough, so Swansea was never likely to work out.
I sometimes wonder whether, had the EPL not happened, he might've done alright managing in Division One with his rigid 4-4-2, his reliance on thirty-somethings and his motivational skills.
